Girl Scout Programs
We are taking reservations for September 2011 thru May 31st 2012.
When you reserve a day or overnight program; your troop will be the only one reserved for that day. Unless you are doing a neighborhood encampment.
This will be our 32nd year working with the Girl Scout Horse Programs! Thanks to all of our Supporters! 2010 was a be hit (including our baby girl Savannah), thanks to all of the wonderful troops we had!

If your favorite horse was at Camp Maripai, please ask if the horse will be available during your program.
We have new programs! Please take a look. Now offering: Horseback Riding, Gold Panning, Hiking, Archery, and much more!
We have: Toilets that flush, bon-fire area with wood, propane grill, bleachers, tables and chairs, two large refrigerator and freezers. All are free to use at no cost. (mostly used by overnighters)

Horse Programs: Adults riding are $35.00 per. person (adults not riding are $5.00)
Brownies: $40.00 per.person. 5 hours. We have a special program for you. We will take our time with the younger girls to give them the best experience possible. This includes a one hour horse ride, arts and crafts, grooming lesson, lesson packet, and a 1 hour lunch.
Junior Horse Fan: $40.00 per. person. 5 hours. This program is very basic horse knowledge and learning skills. 1 hour horse ride, 1 hour horse lesson, 1 hour arts and crafts, 1 hour lesson packet, and 1 hour lunch. This program will complete the Horse Fan Badge.
Junior Horse Rider: $40.00 per. person. 5 hours. This is more hands on with the horses. You will also work on ride properly. 1 hour horse ride, 1 hour horse lesson, 1 hour arts and crafts, 1 hour lesson packet. This program will complete the Horse Rider Badge.
Cadette Horse Sense: $60.00 per. person. 8 hours (must stay overnight) This program will cover all of the requirements needed for the Horse Sense Badge! Please call for detailed information and this badge.
Krazy Horse ultimate horse experience: $100.00 per. person. 8 hours. 1 hour grooming, picking horse hooves, and saddling, 1 1/2 hour trail ride, 1 1/2 bareback lesson, and you must take care of the horse assigned to you. 1 hour extra knowledge about horses. 1 hour arts and crafts. 1 hour lunch and 1 hour dinner. This program is hands on. Kids many be dropped off for this program.
Other Programs:
Gold Panning: $15.00 per. person. 4 hours includes lunch. You will be panning in the Black Canyon Creek which is part of the Turkey and Bumble Bee Rivers. We provide the gold pans. You will ride on a hay wagon to your destination. Please bring plenty of bottled water. Chairs will be provided.
Working on your own troop badges: You bring your own lunch, supplies to work on other badges and use are facility for free. Remember we have 80 acre of grass.
Program Information:
Day Programs 5 Hours includes: Lunch Sam's Club Jumbo Hot Dogs and Angus Hamburgers, chips, and drinks.
Overnight Programs: Use of our tents (or you may bring your own), grills, tables, chairs, and toilets. But you have to supply dinner and breakfast for your troop. Remember we have big refrigerator and freezer to help store your supplies. We will start our program at 9:00 a.m. the morning after you sleep over. Staying overnight is free.
We provide helmets. All girls must bring long pants and closed toe shoes or boots.
When weather is warm the girls will go tadpole catching in the river. Please have them bring shorts and towels.
Adults not riding are $5.00 for lunch.
Adults ridng are $35.00 including lunch. (we accommodate all weight sizes)
*Free limo ride around ranch is included
* The girls get to turn our horses out to graze on the polo fields after program is completed. This has been a big hit with the girls.
